Jakarta – In the midst of global tension that continues to heat up, Israel again made a shocking step. The country that has been known to be careful in its involvement in the Ukraine-Russian conflict, is now reportedly intending to send Russian-made weapons that have been confiscated from their enemies to Ukraine.
Confirmation from the Embassy of Ukraine
This information was first revealed by the Ukraine Embassy in Israel through the official Facebook page. In his upload, the Ukraine Embassy said that the Ukraine ambassador to Israel, Yevhen Korniychuk, met with Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister, Sharren Haskel, on January 21, 2025.
The meeting discussed various aspects of bilateral cooperation, including Israel’s offer to send confiscated weapons. Korniychuk openly expressed his appreciation of this initiative, by calling it an important step in strengthening relations between the two countries that both face geopolitical threats.
The source of the weapons to be sent
The report states that the weapons offered are mostly from Hizbullah’s underground base in South Lebanon, which was successfully secured by Israeli defense forces (IDF) at the end of 2024. The weapon is known to store various types of Russian -made weapons, ranging from rockets, rifles, to other military equipment.
Joint threat and military cooperation
