Cairo, February 27, 2025 – Zahir Jabarin, Chairperson of Hamas in the West Bank as well as the Head of the Syuhada, Prisoners, and Injured Bureaus, delivered a speech full of enthusiasm in the welcoming ceremony of Palestinian prisoners who had just been released. This event is part of the Thufan Al-Ahrar agreement, called Jabarin as a “great victory” for the unity of the Palestinian people and the power of their resistance.
“Hamas is a movement of resistance for freedom. Today is a day that is worthy of being celebrated as a Palestinian National Day. The warriors from Brigade al-QassamAbu Ali Mustafa, Syuhada al-Aqsa, and Saraya al-Quds have returned to their family’s lap, ”said Jabarin proudly.
This release occurred despite a recurring threat from the Israeli National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, who was said to be executing prisoners. However, West Java stressed that the determination of the people of Gaza and persistent resistance had brought them back to the house. “They are now free, thanks to the struggle and sacrifice of the Palestinian people,” he said.
Unforgettable sacrifice
Jabarin also remembers the martyrs who have fallen in the struggle to defend Palestine. Names such as Abu al-Abd Haniyah, Saleh al-Arouri, Yahya Sinwar, Marwan Issa, and Muhammad al-Daif, the supreme command of Brigade Izzuddin al-Qassam, referred to as a hero who has sacrificed his life for the independence of his homeland.
“The freedom we achieve today does not come easily. Houses, mosques, and even trees owned by the Palestinian people have been destroyed. However, all these sacrifices are appropriate prices for our freedom, dignity, and courage, “said Jabarin in a voice full of confidence.
Hope for the future
At the end of his speech, West Java prayed that the exemption of the next prisoner could occur at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which he called a sacred symbol that must be cleaned from “fascist invaders.” He also stressed that the victory of Palestinian resistance did not only occur on the battlefield, but also in moral battles.
“We have witnessed the suffering of prisoners, every blow and insult they experience. The world must know that we will not forget this crime. We will bring the perpetrators of these crimes to court, “said Jabarin in a firm tone.
Reflection on the continuing struggle
The release of this prisoner is a clear proof that the resistance of the Palestinian people remains strong and unwavering. Despite facing pressure and threats, their enthusiasm for gaining freedom and justice continues to flare up.
For many people, this moment is not just physical liberation, but also a symbol of inspiring moral hopes and strength. As Jabarin said, “Our struggle is a struggle for freedom, dignity, and human rights. And we will never give up. ”
With a definite step, the Palestinian people continue to move forward, bring a message to the world that their resistance is a valid resistance, and their victory is a victory for humanity.
