Jakarta, during his state visit to Indonesia, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan handed over a Togg Togg T10X electric car unit to the President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto. The submission of Türkiye’s first national electric car was carried out as a symbol of friendship between the two countries that had been established for 75 years. The submission event took place at the Bogor Presidential Palace, Wednesday, February 12, 2025, ahead of a state lunch.
Erdogan directly introduced Togg T10X to Prabowo, explaining a glimpse of the advantages and technology possessed by the electric vehicle made by Türkiye. Prabowo looked enthusiastic and smiled as he received this white electric car. In fact, the President of Indonesia had tried the car by sitting in the wheelchair, which is located on the left side.
“This gift is a tangible manifestation of close friendship relations between Türkiye and Indonesia,” Erdogan said. Prabowo also welcomed the prize and believed that this step could strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
TOGG T10X: The pride of the Turkish Electric Automotive Industry
Togg T10X is the first electricity SUV produced by Türkiye’nin Othyman Girişim Grubu (Togg). The presence of this car marks an important milestone for Türkiye in developing the electric automotive industry. This car is designed with a large dimension, which is 4,599 mm long, 1,886 mm wide, and 1,676 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,890 mm. This dimension provides a large and comfortable cabin space for passengers.
The Togg T10X exterior design combines Turkish culture elements with a modern touch. Tulip -shaped grille, which symbolizes Turkish culture, is the hallmark of this car. Aerodynamic body lines and integrated LED DRL lights add a futuristic and elegant impression. The interior design is no less impressive, with a 29 -inch panoramic screen panel that stretches along the dashboard, combining the central touch screen and a 12 -inch digital instrument.
Two Variants of Mover and Sophisticated Technology
Togg T10X offers two driving variants: Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and All-World Drive (AWD). The RWD variant is powered by a single electric motor with an output of 160 kw (218 hp) and a torque of 350 Nm, able to reach acceleration 0-100 km/h in 7.6 seconds. Meanwhile, the AWD variant uses two electric motors with a total output of 320 kW (436 hp) and 700 Nm of torque, allowing an acceleration of 0-100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds.
This car is also equipped with intelligent technology that is connected to the Togg mobility ecosystem. With a maximum speed of 185 km/hour, Togg T10X is able to travel a distance of up to 523 km in one full charging. In addition, this car supports DC fast charging up to 180 KW, which allows charging batteries from 20% to 80% in about 28 minutes.
Complete safety features
Togg T10X not only offers stunning performance and design, but is also equipped with a comprehensive safety system. This car has nine airbags scattered throughout the cabin for maximum protection. Active safety features such as Blind Spot Detection, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Emergency Brake Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Traffic Sign Recognition, and High Beam Assists are also available to ensure the safety of drivers and passengers.

The delivery of Togg T10X is not just giving prizes, but also a strategic step in strengthening bilateral relations between Türkiye and Indonesia. The two countries have collaborated in various fields, including trade, investment and technology.
